Community Choice, Inc. is currently hiring Youth Care Workers to work in a residential treatment program in the Kansas City metro area for high-risk children/adolescents.
If you have experience in the field of behavioral health or mental health and have an educational background in the field of social services or psychology we want you to apply.
As a Youth Care Worker, you are responsible for the direct supervision of youths with acute behavioral disorders in a structured environment. The position helps develop, organize, and lead structured groups and activities for program participants. An essential part of the job requires preparation of reports, progress notes, and daily evaluation of client progress in the program. Applicants must have two years of college with at least six hours of coursework in the behavioral sciences. |

Requirements |
| Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and must have prior experience working with youth-at-risk or similar populations in a behavioral health environment. Applicants must have two years of college with at least six credit hours of coursework in social work, psychology or related course in the Mental Health field. Must be able to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak clearly and effectively. Applicants must have an automobile, valid driver's license, and must be able to pass a comprehensive background check. |
